Landlords

Landlords are the property owners in your portfolio. Aqarjia tracks landlord information to properly attribute rental income and manage owner relationships.

Creating a Landlord

  1. Navigate to Portfolio > Landlords and click Create.
  2. Fill in the details:
    • Name -- Full name of the individual or company.
    • Civil ID / CR Number -- Official identification.
    • Phone and Email -- Contact information.
    • Address -- Mailing address.
  3. Click Save.

Assigning Landlords to Properties

Each property can be assigned a landlord:

  1. Open the property and click Edit.
  2. Select the landlord from the Landlord dropdown.
  3. Save the property.

A single landlord can own multiple properties. The landlord detail page shows all properties they own.

Viewing a Landlord

The landlord detail page shows:

  • Overview -- Contact information and identification.
  • Properties -- All properties owned by this landlord.
  • Beneficiaries -- Bank account details for payment routing.
  • Documents -- Title deeds, authorization letters, and other files.

Beneficiaries

Each landlord can have one or more beneficiaries -- the bank accounts where rental income should be deposited. See Beneficiaries for details on setting these up.

If a landlord has multiple properties, you may want different beneficiary accounts for different properties or payment types.

Tips

  • Keep landlord contact information up to date for smooth communication.
  • Attach authorization letters and power-of-attorney documents to the landlord record.
  • Link beneficiary accounts early so that payment routing is configured before the first invoice cycle.
